Edmonton Rocks Wheelchair curling provides an opportunity for individuals with disabilities to participate in the sport of curling. Whether you have curled before or are new to the sport, all levels of participation are welcome. How far you advance in the world of curling is your choice. There is an opportunity to advance to league play with able bodied players, competitive curling at the provincial and national levels as well as participating in bonspiels. Wheelchair curling provides the opportunity to improve physically and emotionally through participation in sport with other wheelchair athletes on a regular basis.
Families can also be involved by participating in any of our group events: family curling fun day, Christmas gathering, spring social, Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser and our picnic in the park.
You only need a curling stick (provided free of charge for first year), warm clothes and the desire to have fun. Join us Saturday’s from 10am – 12pm at Jasper Place Curling Club (16521 – 107 Avenue).
